MY V12 E TYPE ROADSTER '168 XKE'

5.3 litre 4 speed
* owned by me for 25 years
* not used since 1988 when one of its last journeys was to the le mans24 hour race
* bodyshell extensively restored with numerous new panels including both rear wings and inner and outer sills
* completely stripped down to a bare shell and painted carmen red
* engine has now been refitted plus wiring and dash
* engine bay fitted up
* body (less bonnet) now painted ,doors fitted and built,boot area and rear end built up
* bonnet now painted and as yet unfitted
* most of the new trim is now fitted(bespoke design in black with dark red piping)
* 20/2/2003-up and running and just about finished!!
* 20/4/03 now mot'd and roadtesting...sorting out dodgy ignition,brakes sticking on and overcharging alternator etc,etc
* 4/5/03...got the plug leads on in the right order(whoops!) and she now is a v12 and not a v10 ,runs superbly!

now sold....and gone to a good home!!
