TRIUMPH SUPER SEVEN
this
little tourer is similar in appearance to the austin7 but with a superior
specification
* purchased as a wreck 20 odd years ago this car has slowly been restored
to a high standard.
* the bodywork is now complete as is most of the trim
* the mechanics are the last job to do and are proving to be quite a
challenge!
* engine in,connected up and running.the first time it has been started
in 40+years!!!
* APRIL20th 2003....the first time this car has ran under its "own
steam" for over 40 years ...still no brakes though!!!! although
i'm working on them.gears, clutch, axle seem fine
* 4/5/03 re-adjusted the brakes...getting better,but still not good,really
needs new brake shoes
*8/2005
brakes sorted,new shoes,wheel cylinders,master cylinder design.engine
has been replaced temporarily with a reliant 750 due to no parts available
for the original triumph engine.
*drives
really well and stops on a sixpence....in regular use!!
